What do you think about the trend toward requiring students to wear school uniforms.

Well i think we should not have school uniforms. For one thing people might feel insulted. The people that always follow the dress code will wonder what did i do to deserve this? Also some people might feel like thier freedom has been taken away. Like my friend Kayla she feels like we cant be kids anymore that we have to wear a suit like people going to a job at age 14 or 15.
I believe that uniforms would be a good thing because Im the kind of guy who likes to dress up in fancy suits with a tie and shiny black shoes.But, on the flip side yes it
would be nice once and a while to wear casual clothes.But the school can always do a casual friday or sompthing like that.though if this school had uniforms and Frank(who "hates" uniforms) was in that school......I think you might know what will happen. =}
I think there should be school uniforms for the younger kids like k-5. Not for thee older because I think they would not wear them. School uniforms are to start at the begening of the year because if you start the new dress code at the end of the year then the parents would be very angry because they just wasted all that money for school clothes. They school should do a survey wether for just the kids in k-5 or 6-8 uniforms or maybe the whole school should wear uniforms. On this my opion would be only uniforms k-5 should wear the uniforms.
No i don't think we should have school uniforms. I think kids should be able to wear what they want everyday and not have to be subdued to some alphet everday for the reast of the school year. I think it just takes away fomr the uniqueness of it because everyone will be coming to school looking like the same.
I think a trend towards requiring students to wear school uniforms would'nt be a good thing.When people come to school they wear what they want to wear.They express them selves by wearing the clothes that they like.People have different styles.If we all start to wear the same clothes we would strat to look the same.Yes, people can still figure who is who butt by wearing the same thing as everyone else is kide of boring.
Honestly, i think school uniforms would be an ok idea. Not like horrible over the top dumb ones, but just like whatever color polo you want and you should be able to wear jeans and skirts and whatever but your shirts should just be a different color, like we could be able to wear all pastel color polos or something. I think on Wednesdays and Fridays we should be able to wear whaever we want.
I think uniforms would be a good idea because i hate getting dressed for school, so this way it would be so much easier! Right now i just wear jeans and a hoodie every day beause i dont really care what i look like at school but with uniforms it would just be like whatever because i would have something picked out to wear and wouldnt have to go through all of that looking through the closet for what oodie im going ot wear that day.
The uniforms woulld have to be comfy though. I think almost everyone is tired at school, so if your wearing something uncomfortable, it makes it so much worse!
Uniforms would also be good, because no one would get judged for whatever there wearing. I think it's dumb to make fun of someone for what there wearing and its pointless unless you dont like them then you just do it because you hate that person but anyways it's pointless to make fun of an innocent person ust for what there wearing. If your making fun of an innocent person that didnt do anthing to you then you need to get a life and mature.
So thats why uniforms are good.

one reason i think this way is because we should be able to express our individuality...if we all wore the same thing we would all look the same...our last blog was "you are what you wear"..i think that is true...i wear alot of band tee-shirts because i love music. so if i had to wear a uniform..i would be pretty bummed out!!
School uniforms?? Nope there should not be school uniforms or dresscode like in the middle of spring they want us to wear pants and regular sleeved thirst not even a tanktop come on give us a break!!we should be able to wear whatever we want now do us a favor and let us wear what we want!!
School uniforms? Whta kind of charistic does that show?
When students wear school uniforms it doesn't get rid of bullying even though people think it does. But it could start it, people in students neiborhood could see someone walking home and then comment on the uniform they are wearing. It would cause a fight and everything would be chaos.
So school uniforms aren't the best idea.
